The End is the Beginning is the End is the Beginning...
AUM
This is the sacred sound of ALL THAT IS.
The definition IS the sound.
The meaning IS the sound.
A.U.M
A. Ahhhhh: The throat opens to let this sound out. This is the birth, the beginning, the creation. When a baby is born, it takes its first breath and cries with an opened throat, announcing its arrival.
M. Mmmmmmm: The lips come together to close the sound. This is the end, the completion, the death.
U. Uuuuhhhh: This sound is the bridge. Not only does the letter look like a bridge, it connects the beginning to the end. This is the middle, the space between.
AUM
Creation and destruction are one in the same. They are two sides of the same coin and you cannot have one without the other. What happens in the middle is what gives meaning.
May you consciously move across the bridge between beginning and end as you grow into the greatest version of yourself imaginable.
As we end this year only to begin another, what will U do with the space between A and M?
Who will you choose to become?
3 Tips to Becoming Your Best Self!
#1 - Commitment
If you want to get in touch with the best version of yourself, you must set aside the time/space to get to know yourself! This does not have to be a monumental chore. Pick a timeframe that you can carve out, even if it’s 2 minutes, and make a daily commitment to yourself.
#2 - Inquire
Ask yourself what you want! Most people don’t even stop to think about this question. What are you even doing if you don’t have a direction? Your desire will give you a focus! You don’t have to know the answer. By simply asking this question repeatedly, the answer has to find you!
#3 - Imagine
Imagine yourself as already having this desire. Let this image of yourself bring you joy and excitement! What would a day in the life of this version of you feel like? What would you do? How would you act? It’s okay if this part is difficult. Active imagination is SO powerful, but it is a muscle that needs to be exercised. You get better by simply trying and the future you will be so grateful for your efforts!
